Whidbey Island Orthodox Fellowship

A fellowship of Orthodox Christians, catechumens, and inquirers, cultivating the Orthodox faith on Whidbey Island.

“…we being many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another.”

In 2021 one family began commuting from Whidbey Island to attend services at St. Paul. The following year another family arrived, then another…and our group of commuters from Whidbey has quickly grown. In 2022 we started our Whidbey Island Orthodox Fellowship, meeting at people’s homes while seeking a place to hold services and begin outreach on the island.

From the time of June 2024 the group is meeting at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church - we are grateful for their hospitality in allowing us to share their building!.

Meetings consist of a short service and a time of warm fellowship - which often includes the sharing of meals and edifying spiritual discussions.

The group gathers on the 1st, 3rd, and 5th Tuesday of each month @ 6pm, and on the 1st, 3rd, 4th (and 5th) Saturday of each month at 6:30pm.
